Three arrested on possession of heroin charges


YOUNGSTOWN

Police arrested three people on possession of heroin charges Monday in two separate incidents.

About 6:50 p.m., Ray Abercrombie, 33, of Salem and Mariah Styles, 24, no address available, were found with drugs in a parking lot in the 3000 block of Youngstown-Poland Road after someone told police two people were doing drugs in a car. Reports said police found a dose of heroin and needles and spoons in the car.

Also Monday, Justin Lamp, 27, no address available, was also arrested after he was found in a car in a parking lot in the 2500 block of Market Street that is well known for drug activity. Reports said officers saw him throw a piece of wax paper out of the car that had a dose of heroin inside.

All three were taken to the Mahoning County jail.
