Armed robbery of a pizza delivery man reported
LIBERTY
Police are investigating an armed robbery of a pizza delivery man reported Monday night. A 25-year-old Cocca’s Pizza employee told police he was confronted after making an Oakland Drive delivery by a male with a ski mask pulled over his face. The delivery worker said the male pointed a gun at his face and demanded money. He took the worker’s car keys and about $65 in cash before ordering the worker turn and around and go back to the building where he had made the delivery, so he wouldn’t see the robber leave, according to the worker.
Austintown and Liberty police searched the area with police dogs and found a pizza bag that had been taken.
