Beatitude House seeks donations

YOUNGSTOWN

Every year homeless children living at Beatitude House have an opportunity to pick out a gift for their mothers, wrap it and put it under the Christmas tree. This is possible because of donations from the community.

Items can be something practical such as gloves, scarves, socks, slippers or dish towels or something not-so-practical, like a bath set, jewelry, frames, books or perfume. No candles are accepted.

Donations of unwrapped gifts may be taken to Beatitude House’s administrative offices, 238 Tod Lane on the campus of St. Edward Parish. Donations are accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. All gifts must be received by Dec. 14.

For information call 330-744-3147.

Beatitude House is committed to all disadvantaged women and children. By creating homes, providing education and fostering healthy families, they provide disadvantaged women with the opportunity to transform their lives.
