HONOR

The Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio has nominated Diane Sauer, dealer operator at Diane Sauer Chevrolet Inc. in Warren, for the 2016 TIME0 Dealer of the Year. Sauer is a part of a select group of 50 dealer nominees from across the country who will be honored at the 99th-annual National Automobile Dealers Association Convention & Exposition in Las Vegas on April 1. Sauer was chosen to represent the Automobile Dealers Association of Eastern Ohio in the national competition – one of only 50 auto dealers from 16,000 nationwide.

AWARD

Vista Center at the Ridge, a 160-bed nursing center in Mineral Ridge, recently announced and displayed its Excellence in Care Dementia Program of Distinction Award received from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Vista Center at The Ridge is one of only two facilities in the state of Ohio to receive this prestigious award. It is also one of only two facilities in the state with gender-specific dementia units.

CERTIFIED

Howland Alarm Co. was recently recertified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council as a Women’s Business Enterprise. This is the fifth-consecutive year the company is the recipient of the certification. This certification gives women-owned businesses the ability to compete for business opportunities provided by WBENC corporate members and government agencies.
