Megan Elizabeth Collins and Andrew Wade were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 20 at Zion Lutheran Church, in a ceremony officiated by the Rev. Duane A. Jesse. A reception followed at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The bride is a daughter of Kathy Collins of Boardman and the late William T. Collins. Parents of the groom are G. Richard and Donna Wade of Ripley, N.Y.

The bride wore a diamond white pleated crystal taffeta gown that was accented by silver beads and embroidered appliques, and crystal taffeta buttons down the back.

The bride’s cousin, Brei Miller, was maid of honor and Amber Headley was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Mehl, Brooke Vaughn and Molly Piper. The groom’s nieces, Carly and Allyson Fleming and Megan Wade, were flower girls. The attendants wore glacier-colored dresses.

Mike Palano performed duties of best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother, Brad Wade, and Zach Mehl, Brad Vaughn and Vince Carnevale. The groom’s nephews, Nathan Fleming and Ryan Wade, were ushers.

Mrs. Wade earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Mount Union College and a master’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University. She is assistant director of financial aid and scholarships at YSU.

Her husband received a bachelor’s degree in secondary mathematics education from Mercyhurst College. He is an eighth-grade math teacher and high school volleyball coach at Boardman Local Schools.

The Wades traveled to Saint Lucia for a honeymoon. They live in Boardman.
