Method 8 to premiere film

Method 8 will screen its new movie, “Project Blackbird,” at 7 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium at 100 DeBartolo Place. Admission is free. It is the fifth film that Method 8 has produced. Brian K. West produced, wrote and directed it.

The 45-minute movie is about undercover detective Wes Daniels (played by West), who is on the run after being accused of killing his family. Also in the cast are Dawn Maxwell, Victor Arcenio, LaShawn Conner, Jason Scott, Steve Kountz, Joyce Jones, Cassandra Arcenio, Sade Poindexter, James Jones, Mariah Poindexter, Mikayla Maxwell, Matthew “Mattie” Rovder and Emily Dunn.
