Bishop Murry elected chairman of Catholic education committee

YOUNGSTOWN — At the annual Fall General Assembly this week in Baltimore, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, meeting Monday through today in Baltimore, elected Bishop George V. Murry of the Diocese of Youngstown as chairman of the Committee on Catholic Education

Bishop Murry will serve for one year as chairman-elect before beginning a three-year term.
