Suspect in custody, warrants out for others in Saturday murder

YOUNGSTOWN

Police have one suspect in custody and have warrants issued for two others in the murder of a Burbank Avenue man Saturday.

Jason Heard, 19, is in custody for the death of 33-year-old Thomas Owens and U.S. Marshals are searching for Leonard Savage, 21, and Jawonn Hymes, 24. Anyone who has information on their whereabouts is aasked to call the U.S. Marshals tip line at 866-4WANTED or text keyword WANTED to TIP411.

Owens was shot to death about 12:20 a.m. as he sat in a parked car in the 500 block of West Myrtle Avenue.
