ODOT closes ramp on I-80 beginning Friday night

Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, the ramp from state Route 46 to Interstate 80 eastbound will be closed through 11 p.m.

The detour will use Mahoning Avenue to state Route 11 northbound to Interstate 680 southbound to state Route 711, the Ohio Department of Transportation has announced.

Beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, these lane restrictions and closures will be in place through 5 a.m. Monday for traffic-pattern changes:

I-80 eastbound and westbound between Route 46 and U.S. Route 422 will be reduced to one lane in each direction.

The I-80 eastbound exit ramp to Salt Springs Road will be closed. A detour will be posted.

The Salt Springs Road entrance ramp to I-80 eastbound will be closed. A detour will be posted.

The I-80 eastbound entrance exit ramps to Route 11 southbound and Interstate 680 southbound will be relocated to the west, closer to Route 46, but will remain open.
