Recall of Girl Scout-branded Honey Mustard Pretzel Mix

MACEDONIA, Ohio — A product sold by Girl Scouts of North East Ohio during the Magazine and Snack Program this fall has a labeling issue.

While whey is listed in the “ingredient” statement, milk is not declared in the “contains” statement. People who are allergic to milk should not consume this product.

Ashdon Farms, a company licensed by Girl Scouts of the USA to produce Girl Scout-branded nuts and chocolates, is alerting consumer that the Honey Mustard Pretzel Mix sold under the GSUSA brand and Honey Mustard Mix sold under the Ashdon Farms brand distributed to consumers on or before Nov. 15 are being recalled.

The Honey Mustard Pretzel Mix sold under the Girl Scout brand may only be purchased from a Girl Scout as part of her council’s fall product sale.
