Boil-water alert issued for portion of Howland Township

HOWLAND — Because of a water main break, Trumbull County water customers who live on state Route 46 between High Street and Darlington Road are advised to boil their water used for consumption until further notice.

A boil advisory means customers should boil tap water used for drinking or ingestion to a rolling boil for three to five minutes, according to the county sanitary engineer’s office.
