Miss Gregory to wed Mr. Vijayan

CORTLAND

James and Jayne Gregory of Cortland are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Rebecca Christine Gregory of Cleveland, and Karthik Vijayan of Youngstown.

The prospective groom is the son of Vijayan Perumal and Alli Vijayan of Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India.

The couple will wed Dec. 12; a reception will follow.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Kent State University at Trumbull. She is a registered nurse at the Cleveland Clinic’s main campus.

Mr. Vijayan earned a medical degree from JJM Medical College in Davangere, India. He is an internal medicine hospitalist at ValleyCare Health System Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
