‘RV Park Comedy Tour’ in Salem

“RV Park Comedy Tour,” a comedy show featuring Aunt Helen and the Coconuts, will take place Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. at Courtyard Square in downtown Salem. The show, a benefit for Salem Community Theater, features Karen Losito (seated) as Aunt Helen Polichak, along with her two children, Cinnamon (played by Niki Slaven) and Leonard (Dan Haueter). Aunt Helen is a crass-talking, politically incorrect “redneck diva” who somehow raised two children on “donations.” They tell the hilarious and sometimes cringe-worthy story of their lives. The show will be preceded by a Blues Brothers tribute band at 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $8 and are available by calling 330-332-9688, or by stopping in at Shriver’s Tavern, at Courtyard Square.
