Boar’s Head Group of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. The meal includes mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, bread and butter, pie and a beverage. The cost is $8. No reservations are necessary. THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will have a stuffed chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. The $7 dinner includes mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans and a brownie. Reserve a dinner by calling 330-792-5889. Pepperoni rolls also will be sold for $2 each. Remain in your car at the back of the church, and your dinner will be delivered to you.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave. Ext., North Lima, will have its monthly drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. The dinner includes potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie for $7 each. Drive up to the door, and someone will take the dinners to your car. VFW Triangle Post 2799 Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 8 p.m. Prices are $7 for adults, $3.50 for children under 12 and $7 for carryout. Meals include meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea.

FRIDAY

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Phone orders may be made from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday and beginning at 8 a.m. Friday at 330-755-1316. Orders can be picked up beginning at noon.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $5.50 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will take orders for potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528, and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $6.50 per dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins welcome. Use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome. There will be no sale Nov. 27.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi on Fridays. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

SATURDAY

Bessemer Presbyterian Church, 29 N. Main St., Bessemer, Pa., will offer a ham loaf dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. to benefit the church’s general fund. Eat in or take out. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and under. Call the church for tickets at 724-667-7255.

Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will have a chicken pie dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Meal includes potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, bread, dessert and drink. Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Hall Ave., Hubbard, will sponsor its 48th annual pork and kraut dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. with pulled pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes and apple cake. Cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 and younger. Carryouts will be available. A fall festival also is planned with costume party, crafts and games at 5 p.m. Proceeds from a youth bake sale will go to mission trips and youth gatherings.

Mount Hope Veterans Memorial Park Inc. will sponsor an eat-in or takeout breakfast featuring made-to-order omelets from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Reed’s Chapel A.M.E. Church, 1939 Jacobs Road, Youngstown. Chef Jay will prepare eggs, and the meal will include sausage, bacon, French toast and home fries. Cost is $10. Proceeds will go to the upkeep, maintenance and restoration of Mount Hope Cemetery.

Old Springfield United Church of Christ, 11957 state Route 170, New Middletown, will sponsor its annual fall dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the full turkey dinner with the trimmings including dessert and beverage are $8.50 for adults, $4 for 6- to 12-year-olds and free for those 5 and younger. Carryouts will be available. Tickets will be available at the door. There also will be a bake sale and basket auction from noon to 6:30 p.m.

South Range Music Boosters will sponsor an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. at South Range High School, 11300 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Beaver Township. The menu includes sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, milk and orange juice. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and students and free for those 5 and younger. There also will be a basket auction and 50-50 raffle.

St. Joseph the Provider School in St. Anthony of Padua Church complex, 1125 Turin Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a steak fry from 4 to 7 p.m. with a menu of a 12-ounce strip steak, potato, salad, vegetable and dessert. St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will offer a second Saturday supper of beef stroganoff from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The stroganoff will be served over egg noodles, and a vegetable, salad, roll, dessert and beverage are included. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children under 12.

Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown, will be the site of a San Salvador spaghetti dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. There will be a 50-50 raffle and basket auction. All proceeds will benefit the Gerace Research Centre in San Salvador. The event is hosted by Youngstown State University Geography Club, Geology AIPG Club and Anthropology Colloquium. SUNDAY

Fowler Fire Department will serve its monthly pancake, sausage and egg breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, 3386 Youngstown Kingsville Road (state Route 193), Fowler. Prices are $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors, $4.50 for children, and free for preschoolers.

Kinsman Presbyterian Church, 6383 Church St., will have a roast beef dinner from noon to 2 p.m. The event is sponsored by the men’s organization and proceeds will benefit mission projects. Tickets at the door are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. For information call 330-876-4485.

TUESDAY

Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive, Boardman, will have a drive-through stuffed pork chop dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. The dinner includes twice-baked potato, vegetable, garlic bread, salad and cookie. Kids’ meals consist of chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and a kid’s bag with dessert, prize, crayons and coloring page. The cost is $8 for adults and $3 for kids. Credit cards are accepted.

TAKING ORDERS

Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N. Lipkey Road, North Jackson, is taking orders for pumpkin-cherry nut bread. Cost is $10 for a 11/2 -pound loaf. First Presbyterian Church of Girard, 890 Church Hill Road, will sell 15-inch pepperoni rolls for $8 each, chicken noodle and potato soup for $5 a quart or $3 a pint, fresh-baked bread for $2 for a large loaf and $1.50 for small loaf, and sticky buns, four for $2.50.
