Country music legend Loretta Lynn will be at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort on Saturday for an 8 p.m. concert (go to moreatmountaineer.com for tickets). Here are a few facts about her:

v New album: “Full Circle,” her first new studio album in more than 10 years, will be released March 4, 2016.

v Walk of Fame: When the Music City Walk of Fame reopened in June after a renovation, Lynn and rocker Jack White were the first to be inducted.

v Beautiful: Loretta Lynn and her granddaughter, Tayla Lynn, were included in People magazine’s Most Beautiful People issue in April.

v Award: She received the Tennessee Governor’s Arts Award for her influence on the arts on a state and national level.

v Hits: In her 50-plus-year career, Lynn has had more than 50 top 10 hits.

“men, Women, Wild” (10 p.m., Discovery Channel): The new adventure series “Men, Women, Wild” sounds like it could be “Survivor” on steroids. Three couples test their skills and their relationships as they live off the land and navigate their way through harsh, unfamiliar terrain.

‘Bye Bye Birdie’ at West Branch

BELOIT

West Branch High School will present “Bye Bye Birdie” this weekend in the school’s auditorium. Curtain times for the musical are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets will be sold at the door but can also be bought in advance at the school between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. or by calling the box office 330-938-4442.

College’s dance troupe to perform

GROVE CITY, Pa.

Grove City College’s student-led Orchesis Dance Troupe will perform its fall show, “Unhinged,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and also at 3 p.m. Saturday in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.

Orchesis Dance Troupe features nearly 100 students performing a variety of dance styles including lyrical, hip-hop, jazz and contemporary.

The show is free to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets are available at gcc.edu/tickets, and at the theater before shows. Doors open 30 minutes before each performance. For information, go to gcc.edu/orchesis.

Santa Claus figures at Sutliff Museum

WARREN

An exhibit of Santa Claus figures is on display at the Sutliff Museum, on the second floor of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. The collection features five hand-poured and hand-painted ceramic Santa figures in different styles, plus several glass and ceramic ornaments portraying Santa in a different way. Another unique item in this collection is a limited-edition Oreo cookie tin with a poem about Santa.

This exhibit, like all exhibits in the community display case, are created by and on loan from members of the community. The museum is open from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. For information, go to sutliffmuseum.org.
