Health seminar

Immunizations

GIRARD

The well-child immunization clinic will be Thursday at the Girard Health Department, 100 W. Main St., in the City Building.

A $10 administrative fee will be charged per child. Parents are reminded to bring a copy of the child’s immunization record. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18.

Parents must pre-register children prior to the clinic. Call 330-545-6048 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for times and an appointment.

Arthritis seminar

Family Medicine physician Dr. Jeffrey R. Cohen, from Firestone Healthcare, Inc., is offering a free educational seminar about understanding arthritis, including its causes, treatment and prevention, from 1 to 2 p.m. today at Damascas Friends Church, 28857 Walnut St., in Damascus.
