“The Voice” (8 p.m., NBC): It’s the first night of the “Live Playoffs” on “The Voice,” so it’s time for the remaining vocalists to really sing their hearts out.

“Jane the Virgin” (9 p.m., The CW): Speaking of singers, pop star Britney Spears makes a guest appearance on “Jane the Virgin.” She plays herself, which shouldn’t be too much of a stretch.

“NCIS: LOS ANGELES” (10 P.M., CBS): Deeks and Kensi go undercover.

“GoTHAM” (8 p.m., fox): Galavan sends Barbara after Jim Gordon, while he tries to make a business deal with Bruce Wayne.

“Stray Dog” (10 p.m., WQED-PBS): This “Independent Lens” premiere follows Vietnam veteran Ron Hall, who rides to Washington, D.C., with fellow vets to pay tribute to deceased comrades.

Opera singers in church concert

YOUNGSTOWN

Amanda Austin, soprano, and Justin Michael Austin, baritone, along with pianist Tamara Kim, will present an evening of operatic arias and duets Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road.

The Austins are both graduates of the Manhattan School of Music in New York and students of opera legend Catherine Malfitano.

The concert will feature selections from German, French, Italian and English operas as well as a few holiday favorites.

The Austins have performed at Alice Tully, Avery Fisher and Rose Hall at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Grand Theatre de Geneve, Teatro San Carlo and the Papermill Playhouse. Next year, they will appear at Opera Theatre of St. Louis and Sakrale Oper Berlin.

Their upcoming concert at Zion Lutheran is one of many the duo have performed this year at parishes and theaters throughout the United States and in Tuscany in support of mission work, music ministries and music programs. A free-will donation will be accepted.
