“Agent X” (9 p.m., TNT): Sharon Stone comes to prime time in the new espionage drama “Agent X.” She plays U.S. Vice President Natalie Maccabee, who deploys a top-secret agent (Jeff Hephner) in off-the-radar missions, unbeknown to even the president.
“Getting On” (10 p.m., HBO): This deliriously offbeat comedy about the ragtag staff of a beleaguered hospital’s extended-care unit launches its final season with the first of six fresh episodes. Deftly blending humor and heartbreak, the show follows the chaotic lives of nurses and doctors as they struggle with the realities of caring for the elderly in an overwhelmed health care system. Laurie Metcalfe, Alex Borstein and Niecy Nash lead the cast.

Lecture on WWI Christmas truce

A free lecture titled “Christmas During Wartime: The 1914 Christmas Truce” by George Johnson of Logan will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the Thomas Meeting Room at Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave.
