Schwarzenegger to start filming movie in Columbus

COLUMBUS

The Greater Columbus Film Commission has announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger will star in a movie that begins filming in Columbus next month.

The Dispatch reported that the commission has posted a blog that says production begins Dec. 6 for a film titled “478.” Production is expected to take 25 days.

The newspaper reports that Schwarzenegger will play a man who loses his wife and child in a plane crash caused by an air controller’s mistake, and that Schwarzenegger’s character seeks revenge after the controller is punished and is put in protective custody.

The film has a projected budget of $10.5 million and will be directed by Elliott Lester.

Schwarzenegger, a five-time Mr. Universe and the former Republican governor of California, visits Columbus each year for the Arnold Sports Festival.

Supermodel Bundchen launches photo book

SAO PAULO

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has launched a book of more than 300 photographs spanning her 20-year career just months after retiring from the catwalk.

Fan Marcelo Spencer says he arrived at midnight to be first in line for Friday’s debut in Sao Paulo and get his copy of “Gisele” signed by the supermodel, who retired in April.

Spencer says Bundchen treated him “very well” and wrote a simple dedication inside: “To Marcelo, handsome, blond, tall and thin. From your diva, Gisele.”

The Portuguese-language version of “Gisele” sells for either $500 or $925 for the deluxe edition.
