Sara McMillen, Arla Firmstone plan to marry

EAST PALESTINE

Joseph and Beverly Firmstone are announcing the engagement of their son, Arla J. Firmstone of East Palestine, to Sara J. McMillen of New Castle, Pa.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ralph and Patricia McMillen of New Castle.

The couple are planning a May 21, 2016, wedding and reception at SNPJ Recreation Center in Enon Valley, Pa. Invitations will be extended.

Miss McMillen earned an associate degree in applied science from Youngstown State University. Her future husband graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.

The couple are both employed at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where she is a medical laboratory technician and he is laboratory assistant.
