Valley piano entertainers in benefit performance

EAST PALESTINE

The piano duo of Carson Weingart and Jarred Walker will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday in the East Palestine High School Auditorium.

The act performs music from movies and Broadway and pop favorites in the style of Ferrante and Teicher. They have been performing together for more than 10 years, blending comedy into a concert experience for all ages.

The concert will be highlighted by Ferrante and Teicher hits, a tribute to Liberace, xylophone features and a rendition of “MacArthur Park,” accompanied by East Palestine High School seniors Jamie Molnar, Cassie Thornton and Carson Rutledge and East Palestine band director Jennifer Mollenkopf. Tickets are $12 in advance (call 330-426-9401)and $15 at the door. Proceeds support the school’s music program.
