Circle of Serbian Sisters Night in Belgrade event set for Saturday

The Circle of Serbian Sisters will host its annual Night in Belgrade event at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Serbian Memorial Hall, 54 Laird Ave.
A buffet dinner will be served until 7 p.m. and will include chicken, stuffed cabbage, cevapcici, mashed potatoes, Serbian rice, green beans, strawberry romaine salad, Serbian bread, coffee and tea and cakes prepared by the Sisters. A cash bar will be available. Cost is $25 for adults, $10 for children 6 to 12 years old and free to children under 6.
Dinner music will be provided by Libby’s Tamburitzans and will be conducted by Stacy Vesolich.
Saint Nicholas Serbian Tamburitzans of Monroeville, Pa., will entertain with a dance and song performance. The Dijamanti Orchestra of Cleveland will provide dance music after 7 p.m. Cost to attend the dance only is $10.

The group focuses on philanthropic work to benefit Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church. So far this year, the Sisters have donated $17,000 to refurbish the parish house, including new floors for the living and dining room and purchase of a washer, dishwasher, vacuum and more. They also have purchased new robes for the priest.
