29th Magic of the Angels’ Christmas planned

The 29th annual Magic of the Angels’ Christmas event will take place at 6 p.m. Nov. 21 at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave. The theme of this year’s edition is “The Nutcracker.”
The evening will include a gourmet dinner and dancing to the music of the Sensations, along with silent auctions of decorated trees, designer pieces, gift baskets, collector’s items and more.
A special silent auction for a golf getaway to the Greenbrier in West Virginia also will be featured. The Greenbrier is a national historic landmark and resort that has hosted guests from around the world since 1778.
The event will benefit Easter Seals and Youngstown Hearing & Speech and will feature the “Building Tomorrows” program of intense therapy for children with disabilities.

Grand raffle tickets for a $2,000 shopping spree, compliments of Eastwood Mall Complex, will cost $10 each and can be obtained by calling 330-599-5568 or from any member of the Angels. The winner does not need to be present.
During the evening, the Children’s Magical Tree will be decorated with $25 ornaments purchased by sponsors.
