Mr., Mrs. Brooks celebrate golden anniversary

AUSTINTOWN

The Springfield Grille in Poland was the setting for the Oct. 11 celebration of the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brooks of Austintown.

Their children, Joe and Jennifer Brooks and Bill and Tascin Brooks, all of Canfield, and Vince and Lori Zuccaro of Poland, hosted the event. Six grandchildren complete the family.

The former Patty Neill married Mr. Brooks on Oct. 16, 1965, at Faith Lutheran Church in Youngstown.

The couple are members of Old North Church in Canfield.

Mrs. Brooks was a registered nurse at Northside Hospital in Youngstown and retired in 2001.

Mr. Brooks was a sprinkler fitter at North Coast Fire Protection in Warren and retired in 1999. He is an Army veteran.
