Workers at Toledo refinery reach deal

Workers at an oil refinery in northern Ohio say they’ve reached a tentative contract agreement after a four-month strike.
A vote is expected within the week among workers at the BP-Husky Toledo Refinery.
The United Steelworkers local that represents 350 workers at the refinery announced Saturday that they had reached a deal. Terms of the agreement weren’t released.
Workers began the strike in February but returned to the job last week before the deal was finalized.
United Steelworkers members at more than a dozen U.S. refineries began strikes earlier this year over wage and safety issues. Workers at most of the other refineries already have approved new contracts and returned to work.
