The Tony Awards, recognizing the year’s best plays, musicals and performers on the Broadway stage, will be given out one week from today in a ceremony that will air at 8 p.m. on CBS. Here are the previous five winners of the Tony for Best Musical, according to the World Almanac:

v 2014: “A Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder”

v 2013: “Kinky Boots”

v 2012: “Once”

v 2011: “The Book of Mormon”

v 2010: “Memphis”

“The Critics’ Choice Television Awards” (8 p.m., A&E): One critic gives it two thumbs up!

“Spring Baking Championship” (9 p.m., Food): Somebody takes home 50 grand – that’s a lot of dough.

“Return to Amish” (9 p.m., TLC): Kate goes for a new look in tonight’s season premiere.

“Golan the Insatiable” (9:30 P.M., FOX): This offbeat animated series is about a mighty creature (voiced by Rob Riggle) from an alternate dimension. Banished to Minnesota, he befriends a 9-year-old goth girl (Aubrey Plaza) who encourages him to cause trouble. The show is moving from late-night to prime time.

“Halt and Catch Fire” (10 p.m., AMC): In the Season 2 opener of “Halt and Catch Fire,” Cameron (Mackenzie Davis) and Donna’s (Kerry Bishe) new gaming company, Mutiny, finds itself at a crossroads. Meanwhile, the dawn of the Internet is near.

Hoyt Center seeks art for competition

NEW CASTLE, PA.

The Hoyt Center for the Arts is accepting entries for the second annual Arts on the Riverwalk art competition in conjunction with the New Castle Fireworks Festival, July 10-11.

More than $500 in cash prizes will be awarded.

The exhibit will open at the Confluence and remain on display through Sept. 10.

Artists must be 18 or older and live within a 50-mile radius of New Castle.

All media will be considered with the exceptions of video and installation.

Entries may not exceed 36 inches in any direction or 100 pounds in weight.

There is a $10 entry fee per work. While an unlimited number of works may be entered, no more than two works per artist will be displayed. All works must be original and completed in the last three years.

Artists may apply online at hoytartcenter.org or deliver works in person on June 27 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Hoyt is at 124 E. Leasure Ave.
