Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening is available from noon to 12:45. Marguerite Hassey of Diabetes Partnership of Mahoning Valley will discuss education and assistance programs. Reservations are being taken for a luncheon July 6 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield for lunch and bingo. For reservations call Linda Wiland, president, at 330-318-8472. The cost is $11. This is a group of seniors who meet the first Thursday of each month for lunch and a program or bingo. Retired men, women and couples are invited. Cornersburg residency is not a requirement.
J.C. Penney Seniors will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. June 9 at Denny’s in Boardman.
Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet for its monthly gathering at noon Friday at Lowellville City Hall Conference Room. A catered lunch and bingo will be played after the meeting. Steelworkers Retirees, Local Union 1330 and 1331, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome.
Youngstown State University Retirees’ monthly breakfast will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s Restaurant in Cornersburg. All retirees are invited to attend.
