Lauren McMahon and John DeSantis exchanged vows at 1:30 p.m. June 14, 2014, at Holy Family Church. Monsignor William Connell officiated. A reception followed at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown.

Kenneth and Beverly McMahon of Poland are the parents of the bride, and Angela DeSantis of Hubbard is the mother of the groom. His father is the late Gary DeSantis Sr.

The couple reside in Poland.

Mrs. DeSantis earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in dental hygiene from Ohio State University. She works as a dental hygienist for Dr. Melissa Mullane Padgett in Boardman.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in integrated social studies from Youngstown State University and is studying for his master’s in educational administration. He teaches high school history at Brookfield Schools.

Jessica McMahon, sister of the bride, was her honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Katie Mulholland; Mallory Bajerski; Molly Blangero; Natalie Zajac; Maureen Cearfoss and Amanda Warchol, cousins of the bride; and Christina DeSantis, sister-in-law of the bride. The attendants wore coral floor-length dresses.

Brothers of the groom, Gary DeSantis II and David DeSantis, shared the duties of best man.

Groomsmen were Sean McMahon and Breen McMahon, brothers of the bride, Michael Costantini, Brian Polinsky, Jimmy Winterburn and Andrew Frasco.

NORTH CANTON

Walsh University Chapel, North Canton, was the location of the Sept. 6, 2014, wedding of Jessica McMahon and Justin Anthony. The Rev. Patrick Manning officiated. A reception followed at Akron Art Museum.

Her parents are Kenneth and Beverly McMahon of Poland, and his parents are Greg and Cathy Anthony of Wadsworth, Ohio.

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and reside in Wadsworth.

Mrs. Anthony received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Walsh University and a master’s degree in forensic nursing from Cleveland State University. She is a clinical coordinator registered nurse in adolescent medicine at Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron.

Her husband graduated from Duquesne University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. He is a clinical pharmacist for Akron Children’s Hospital.

The bride wore a strapless ivory multilayered organza gown with a jewel-encrusted belt.

Lauren DeSantis was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Jacquelyn Cearfoss and Jennifer Minehart, cousins of the bride; Annie Yoder; Alison Prudoff; Carly Pham; Torrie Ward; and Lisa Fusco. The attendants wore pewter gray dresses.

Jeff Anthony was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Breen McMahon and Sean McMahon, the bride’s brothers; Mike Sardone; Patrick Kelly; Kyle Danals; Josh Pivato; Kyle Richardson; David Dishauzi; and Bryan McHenry.
