Rescue Mission phone service remains out

YOUNGSTOWN — Telephone service at the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley’s Emergency Shelter, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and its Distribution center at 2246 Glenwood Ave. was disrupted at about noon Thursday and was not back in service as of 3 p.m. today.

A Rescue Mission spokesman said he is uncertain what caused the outage and when it will be repaired.

Individuals who need emergency assistance can call the Mission at 330-503-6825 until the regular service is re-established.
