Reedy-Grope wedding date is announced

Christy Reedy and James Grope III, both of Poland, are announcing plans for their upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry Reedy of Poland and Kathy Shook of Canfield. Mr. Grope is the son of Deborah Daus of Canfield and James Grope Jr. of Canfield.

The couple will exchange vows during a 5 p.m. open ceremony June 5 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park. A reception will follow at The Lake Club in Poland, for which invitations have been issued.

Miss Reedy earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology from the University of Mount Union and the University of Pittsburgh. She is a portfolio manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Pittsburgh.

The prospective groom attended the University of Cincinnati. He is a self-employed remodeling contractor in Youngstown.
