Poland, Western Reserve baseball teams state-bound

The Mahoning Valley is sending two teams to state baseball tournaments.

Poland beat Canton South, 8-4, in a Division II regional final in Hudson on Friday to secure its first state berth since 1983.

Western Reserve beat Louisville St. Thomas Aquinas, 9-3, in a Division IV regional final in Lorain to clinch its second consecutive state berth.
