Hilltop Elementary School students had a great time being appreciated during the school’s annual PTO-sponsored Student Appreciation Day May 15.

The students were treated to a bounce around party and enjoyed snow cones throughout the day.

The students were split into small groups and had five stations to visit, including a bounce house, two obstacle courses, a giant inflatable slide and the snow cone table.

The bounce-a-rounds were set up in the playground area and when the whistle blew, the students moved onto their next station.

Several PTO volunteers, coordinated by Kara Burnett, helped with the event throughout the day by making the snow cones and keeping an eye on the students.

Each class had 40 minutes to bounce and play as much as they possibly could, with the students ‘bouncing off the walls’ all day.
