Youngstown man faces various charges for crimes committed in Boardman


BOARDMAN — A Youngstown man is charged with robbery, felonious assault and two counts of criminal damaging after he was taken into custody by township police and U.S. marshals in West Virginia on Thursday. 

Police say that Terrence Parker, 30, of Canton Street, threatened victims with a knife, slashed the tires of one victim's car and then stole two phones and cash from the victims during an incident May 4 at a Cook Avenue residence. 

Parker was taken to the Mahoning County jail.
