The Turtles to headline oldies show

The Happy Together tour, headlined by The Turtles ... featuring Flo and Eddie, will play at the Canfield Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 8 p.m. at the Grandstand.

The tour brings together several oldies acts, including the Association, Mark Lindsay (former lead singer of Paul Revere and the Raiders), the Grass Roots, the Buckinghams and the Cowsills,

Tickets go on sale June 15 at Canfieldfair.com.

Flo and Eddie are the musical duo of Mark Volman (“Flo”) and Howard Kaylan (“Eddie”), who were the founders of the 1960s pop-rock group the Turtles. After the Turtles broke up, the duo formed Flo and Eddie.

They later re-emerged as the Turtles ... featuring Flo and Eddie, and started the Happy Together tour in 1984.

The fair will announce another Grandstand concert June 12.

Already announced is the Christian rock band MercyME, which will perform Sept. 6.
