OSHP reports 14 deaths over Memorial Day weekend

COLUMBUS — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is reporting 14 deaths on Ohio roadways over the 2015 Memorial Day weekend. This is compared to 13 deaths in 2014.

Three of this year’s fatalities are known to be operating a vehicle impaired-related, and four did not wear their safety belts at the time of the crash.

In addition, troopers made 16,957 non-enforcement contacts, of which 4,212 were to assist motorists.
