No vote on Warren 911 tonight

City Council did not decide whether to turn over city police dispatching to the County 911 operation tonight, instead tabling the question for later.

Finance Committee Chairman Eddie Colbert said Tuesday he expected the matter to come to a vote tonight, but Councilman Al Novak said Tuesday he would vote no because he still wasn’t comfortable with the answers he had received regarding what dispatching facility would serve as backup to the county once Warren’s center was closed.
