Champion outlasts Waynedale

MASSILLON — The Champion softball team rallies to defeat Apple Creek Waynedale 6-5 in a Division III regional semifinal.

Waynedale led 5-1 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, but the Golden Flashes rallied for four runs to force extra innings.

Brittany Allen eventually drove in winning run for Champion.
