CANFIELD

May 6

Harassing phone calls: Unwanted harassing phone calls were reported at a home in the 400 block of Chatsworth Lane.

May 7

Theft: Parcels were reported missing at a home in the 40 block of Cherry Hill Court. Fed Ex is investigating.

May 15

Sick fox: Police had to put down a sick fox at a home in the 200 block of Fairground Blvd.

May 11

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Jason Poole, 36, of Third Street, Warren, for possession of marijuana.

Theft: Three tarps were taken off a trailer at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: Copper was cut from an air-conditioning unit at Sleepy Hollow, 5860 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card reported by a person at a home in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.

Summons: Police issued a summons to Javan Padilla, 28, of Parma Heights, for soliciting as a transient vendor for Northstar Security in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive without a license.

May 12

Criminal damaging: A rock was thrown at a vehicle at State Route 46 and Interstate 80 by an unknown hitchhiker.

Theft: A cellphone was stolen from the girl’s locker room at Austintown Fitch High school, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: Four air-conditioning condensers with copper tubing were stolen from the roof of Austintown Bounce Indoor Play Center,4317 Kirk Road.

Disturbance: A road-rage altercation took place at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Injury on duty: A police officer was injured on duty at a house fire in the 2000 block of South Turner Road.

Theft: Money, a portable radio and keys were stolen at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 777 Hollywood Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested Jesse Kalhoun, 39, of Santa Monica Drive, Youngstown, on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drugs and tampering with evidence.

May 13

Unauthorized use: Unauthorized use of a computer was reported at a home in the 2000 block of Whispering Pines Drive.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Deandre Kelly-Johnson, 20, of Como Street, Struthers, for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 1000 block of Countryside Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested John McStowe, 40, of Willowcrest Avenue, on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation, stemming from an original charge of child endangering.

Theft: Internal theft was reported at Select Sportswwear, 1502 S. Raccoon Road.

Burglary: A rifle was taken from a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square.

Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 4000 block.

Theft: Various items were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 1000 block of Signature Drive.

Menacing by stalking: There is a suspect in a case of menacing while stalking at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

May 14

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Julie Herdman, 20, of Lake Road, for possession of marijuana.

Warrant: Police arrested Francisco Franqui, 83, of South Raccoon Road, on a domestic-violence charge.

Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to John Girardi, 29, of Mahoning Avenue, on a charge of criminal trespassing at an apartment in the Hillbrook apartments, South Raccoon Road.

May 15

Vehicle pursuit: Police arrested Shane Mitchell, 24, of Westminster Avenue, after he led police on a vehicle pursuit.

Theft: An iPod and USB cord were stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 200 block of DeHoff Drive.

Theft: A Chromebook was stolen at Austintown Fitch High School.

Theft: Miscellaneous yard decorations were stolen at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Burglary/auto theft: Two flat-screen televisions and a 2015 Hyundai Sonata were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Warrant: Police arrested Cassandra LeLesch, 34, of West Third Street, Niles, on a warrant for theft after stealing $228.78 in gas at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

May 16

Theft: $120 was stolen from a purse at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Danielle Johntony, 34, of Roy Street, Youngstown, on a warrant for receiving stolen property after police said she took diamond rings and a diamond and ruby necklace to Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: A male threatened another male at the Ice House, 5516 W. Webb Road.

May 17

Criminal damaging: Tires were slashed on a vehicle parked at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Criminal damaging: A pool was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of North Beacon Drive.

Recovered property: A gun was located after being lost or stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Unauthorized use of motor vehicle: A 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt was used without authorization at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Recovered property: A wallet was recovered at Austintown Auto Spa, 5556 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: Dealer plates were recovered at Mahoning Avenue at Wickliffe Circle.

Disturbance: Police were called to stop a large fight in the parking lot of Pandora Club, 169 S. Four Mile Run Road.
