Canfield Republican Women’s Club is sponsoring a quarter auction June 4 at Drake’s Landing, 2177 Western Reserve Road, Canfield. Hors d’oeuvres and wine taste will start at 6 p.m., and the auction will begin at 7. Doors will be open at 5:30. Take quarters or buy them at the auction. The cost for admission is $25 donation includes an auction paddle. Featured will be patriotic items, wine baskets, antiques and more. There also will be a 50-50 raffle and a handgun raffle. CRAFT SHOWS

Celebrate Poland craft show will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 27 at the Poland Village Hall, 308 S. Main St. Arts and crafts vendors and nonprofit groups are asked to call Barbara Banks at 330-757-4584 for registration. The fee for this one-day event is $30 for a 15-by-10-foot space. Celebrate Poland is a family friendly weekend including a parade, music and fireworks.

FLEA MARKETS

Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, Austintown, will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Tuesday until October, weather permitting. Vendors can set up early in the large spaces, which cost $5 each. Refreshments are available.

SALES

East Palestine Area Historical Society is seeking vendors for its Community Yard Sale, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13 at the Historical Society, 555 Bacon Ave. The event is open to individuals, organizations, clubs, churches, and youth and civic groups selling rummage items and collectibles, and commercial and craft vendors. Vendors can rent an outdoor area (approximately 15-by-15 feet) for $10. Sellers will need to take their own tables. Setup will begin at 8 a.m. and tear-down, at 3 p.m. Call 330-271-1979 or any society member for a contract or information. Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 6.

Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 626 Wick Ave., Youngstown, is hosting a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 5 and 6.

Warriors Inc., 2733 Market St., Youngstown, is sponsoring a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The sale will include strollers, crib, playhouse, toys, books, riding toys, children’s lessons, musical instruments, Christian books, videos and more. TRIPS

Trumbull County Travel Club's next day trip will be June 4 to Lake Erie to Bluestone Perennial’s greenhouse clearance sale, which takes place only once a year. Lunch is included at the Cornerstone Brewery plus a candy store stop and wine taste. On July 23 there will be a shopping trip to Canal Fulton, which will include a canal boat ride, glass production studio and dairy. Aug. 15 will be a dinner and wine taste on the way to a theater production at Rabbit Run. An Oct. 20-24 motor coach trip to Williamsburg, Va., and Washington, D.C., is in place and filling quickly as well as a two-day trip to Lancaster, Pa., June 9 and 10. The club will travel to Hawaii with a stop in San Diego in 2016. An informational meeting will take place June 18 for the Williamsburg/Washington trip and the Hawaii vacation.
