YOUNGSTOWN
The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown, 505 Gypsy Lane, is offering iPad 101 classes next Monday, June 8, 15, and 22 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the adult lounge.
Participants will learn the basic functions of the iPad, including how to set up an email and app store account and how to install and organize apps. Cost is $45 for members and $55 for nonmembers.

Pet seminar set
VIENNA
Have A Hart Pet Store, 812 Youngstown-Kingsville Road SE, is offering a free one-hour seminar on protecting your pets from fleas, ticks and heartworms from 11 a.m. to noon June 3.
Jennifer Gilliland RVT of Patterson Companies will speak and answer questions. Light refreshments will be provided.

Track meet

The Trumbull County ASAP Opiate Task Force is having a Start Talking Summer Track Meet in collaboration with the McDonald and Warren G. Harding track and field programs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 11 at the Harding track complex.
Start Talking is a statewide initiative aimed at preventing drug abuse among Ohio children. The track meet will feature a track-and-field day for children age 4 to 18 along with family-friendly activities and education to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
