YOUNGSTOWN

St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., and 88.5 WYSU will host Krista Tippett, Peabody Award-winning public-radio broadcaster and bestselling author, at 7 p.m. June 12 at the church.

In 2014, Tippett received the National Humanities Medal at the White House for delving into the mysteries of human existence.

Her public-radio show and podcast, On Being, which airs at 7 a.m. Sundays on 88.5 WYSU, brings a wide range of voices to examine: What does it mean to be human? How do we want to live?

Tippett will lead a discussion as part of her Civil Conversations Project, which explores these essential questions for communities all across our country with the purpose of building community through personal and societal change.

Admission to the event is free, but reservations are required because of limited space. For information and to make a reservation, call WYSU at 330-941-1777.
