Monique Irwin, James Tabak Jr. plan June rite

Monique Raquel Irwin of Pittsburgh and James Robert Tabak Jr. of Struthers are planning a June wedding, her parents are announcing.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Iris Carrasquillo-Irwin of Youngstown, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Irwin of Hubbard.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Tabak of Struthers.

The couple will exchange wedding vows in a 4 p.m. open ceremony June 13 at The Anne Christman Memorial Hall in Stambaugh Auditorium. A reception by invitation will honor the couple that evening at The Embassy in Boardman.

Miss Irwin graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a doctorate in audiology. She is a pediatric audiologist at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC in Pittsburgh.

Mr. Tabak graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He is a corrections officer for Corrections Corp. of America in Youngstown.
