Grief camp will help kids who lost loved one

VILLA MARIA, PA.

Hospice of the Valley is planning a free grief camp for children ages 8 to 15 who have experienced the death of a loved one.

It will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 24, 25 and 26 at The Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center, 2105 Evergreen Road.

The camp provides the opportunity for children to learn coping skills and to meet other children who have experienced a loss.

Meals and snacks are provided daily. Transportation will be available if needed.

On June 26, the day will wrap up at 6 p.m. after a family picnic and closing ceremony at 4:30. For information and registration contact the bereavement department at 330-549-5850.
