On April 25, Poland Seminary High School Students produced “The Music Man.” This play was put on at the high school by the Poland Players.

This was a special production, only announced at the end of the fall production. The cast was composed of 123 students and 152 students participated in the production, overall.

This cast is the largest number of Poland Players the high school has had in years.

“I think these shows are fantastic,” Bill Fonagy, husband of director Candice Fonagy, said.

Bill Fonagy said Candice began casting in January, working up until this point with the students on this production.

With the help of parents, staff and the students the production was a huge success — incorporating music with the band, as well as acting by the Poland Players.

“Stephanie Gage was our amazing costume designer,” Bill Fonagy said.

Gage lead the several parent and staff volunteers in making the costumes, doing most of the design work for the event.
