Clinton backers meet Saturday in Niles

A grassroots organizing meeting for backers of Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mahoning/Trumbull Central Labor Council Hall, 1265 N. Main St.

This is the first official Clinton campaign event in the Mahoning Valley.

Expected to attend are Jay Plant, Hillary for America’s Ohio organizer and U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Howland, D-13th, who is backing Clinton’s 2016 presidential bid.
