A Warren man was hit by a car that didn’t stop, and police are asking people with information to come forward. Aaron Walker, 24, was struck at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday after he got out of his car at the intersection of Hewitt Gifford Road and Kale Adams Road. Walker’s car was hit from behind by a newer model black Chevrolet passenger car with four occupants. The driver was a black woman in her mid- to late 20s with straight hair. Walker was hit after he got out to inspect the damage and the Chevrolet took off. He was not seriously injured. Single-car crash

KINSMAN

Steven Frantz Jr., 21, of Burghill, suffered serious injuries in a single-car crash on state Route 7 at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday in Johnston Township. Frantz’s 2000 GMC pickup truck was northbound and traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. He was wearing a seat belt, the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Southington Post reported. He was extricated from the truck and taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. The roadway was closed for about one hour. The crash remains under investigation.
