Boardman police investigate theft of $1,600 from unlocked truck

BOARDMAN — Township police are investigating a reported theft after a Tippwood Court resident said someone stole $1,600 from his truck.

Police responded to the residence early Wednesday. The victim said he left cash from three paychecks in his truck, which was stolen along with a GPS device sometime since Tuesday night.

The victim said his truck was unlocked at the time of the theft.
