VFW post plans Memorial Day ceremony

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR VFW Post 6488, 2065 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown, and its Ladies Auxiliary will host its annual Memorial Day observance at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Kenneth L. Simon, pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church, will be the keynote speaker. The ceremony will include a tribute to Arlette T. Gatewood of Local Union 1462 Steel Workers of America AFL-CIO-CIC., dedicated trade unionist. Special recognition will be given to the widows of departed comrades.
