Ceremony honors fallen YSU veterans

YOUNGSTOWN

A Reading of the Names ceremony today honored the 67 known Youngstown State University students or employees who died while on active military duty.

The event was at Veterans Plaza on Armed Forces Boulevard on the campus.

"Youngstown State is a veterans-friendly campus, and we feel it's important to keep it fresh in everyone's mind," said Rick Williams, coordinator of YSU's Office of Veteran Affairs.
