Break the Chains event to help dogs

Legacy Dog Rescue and community volunteers will be chained to dog houses for 12 hours, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 6 at the fourth annual Break the Chains event to promote awareness of the plight of chained dogs.

The event will take place at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road, and will include a basket auction, bake sale and concession stand.
